Common symptoms
What you'll notice
- Inspect and repair any leaks or damaged hoses in the turbocharger or supercharger system.
- Replace the wastegate or blow
- off valve if they are not functioning properly.
- Clean or replace the air filter to ensure proper airflow to the turbocharger or supercharger.
- Check and adjust the wastegate actuator or bypass valve to prevent overboosting.
- If necessary, reflash the engine control unit (ECU) to recalibrate the boost control system.
