How to diagnose & fix

Work through it in order

1. Fuel fill door cannot be locked
2. Fuel fill door cannot be opened
3. Fuel fill door lock is engaged but does not hold the door closed securely
4. Fuel fill door lock mechanism makes a noise or a clicking sound
5. Fuel fill door lock indicator light stays on or flashes.
