Stuck in Gear 1
What it means
P072C means the transmission is stuck in first gear — the computer commanded a shift but the gearbox stayed in, or defaulted to, gear 1. This is usually an internal hydraulic, solenoid, or mechanical fault. The car will move but can't gain proper speed, and it often accompanies a limp-mode condition.
