What it means

P2BAA is a diesel emissions code: measured NOx is exceeding the limit while the SCR system is consuming too little reagent (DEF/AdBlue) to control it. In other words, the exhaust after-treatment isn't dosing enough DEF, so NOx stays high. The car usually still drives, but emissions rules cause the system to escalate warnings and can enforce a power/speed derate if the fault isn't fixed.
