What it means
P2211 means the ECM sees an abnormally high voltage on the heater-sense circuit of the bank 1 NOx sensor. That heater brings the sensor up to operating temperature so it can read nitrogen-oxide levels for the SCR/emissions system. A high signal usually means a wiring short-to-voltage, a bad connection, or a failing heater in the sensor. The engine runs, but emissions monitoring is compromised.
Can I keep driving? Usually drivable, but the NOx sensor can't work until it reaches temperature, so emissions monitoring is affected and diesels may eventually derate; repair soon.
